What does governed by default mean?
Every automation ships with a written scope, a human approval gate on anything that sends money or contacts a customer, an audit trail, a spend cap, a staging test, and a record of which model is live. A named person stays accountable after launch.
Who is accountable when an automation breaks?
Tekefy stays on as the named operator of record during Managed AI Operations. You get a monthly report and a reply within one business day. The person who scoped the system is the person who fixes it.
Do you build custom software?
No. If a custom build is the question, Platform Fit Advisory is the offer: a build-versus-buy verdict before a large software spend. We install automations on tools you already own.
Do you offer SEO or social media?
No. Those retainers were cut on purpose. A client can still run their own drafts and scheduling. Tekefy does not sell SEO or social as a service.
Are prices in CAD?
Yes. Published prices are Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes. US clients are quoted the same numbers in US dollars. There is no hourly rate.
What is a Guardrail Sheet?
A one-page record delivered with every Sprint: the approval gates, the audit trail, the spend cap, and the model and workflow version that is live.
What does AI-enabled mean for my business?
AI does a specific, repetitive part of a workflow: drafting a reply, sorting an inbox, pulling numbers into a report. A person still approves anything that sends money, contacts a customer, or changes a record of consequence. We only use AI where it beats the manual way.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Most clients run on spreadsheets, email, and one or two tools like Jobber, Shopify, or QuickBooks. We build on the tools you already own and hand over a runbook in plain language.
Who owns the automations and the data?
You do. Accounts, workflows, and data stay in your name, on your tools, and the audit logs belong to you. On full payment you own the deliverables; we keep only our pre-existing tools and know-how. If you stop Managed AI Operations, you keep everything and the runbook to run it.
Is my data safe with AI tools?
Every Sprint ships with data-handling notes: what data goes where, which providers see it, and what is retained. Personal data is kept to the minimum the workflow needs, and the notes are written with PIPEDA in mind. We walk through it on the audit call.
How is the free audit call different from a sales call?
It's a working session, not a pitch. In 30 minutes we map your current workflows and hand you a short list of the highest-impact automation opportunities, including honest notes on what isn't worth automating yet. You keep that map whether or not you hire us.
How much does a Sprint cost?
An Automation Launch Sprint is $4,500 for one system, or $7,500 for up to three connected systems and a reporting dashboard. The first automation is typically live in 2 to 4 weeks.
What is an AI Opportunity Blueprint?
A fixed $1,500 engagement over two weeks: a workflow audit, your top three automations with hour estimates, a 90-day roadmap, a Sprint quote, and governance notes. The fee is credited in full against a Sprint booked within 60 days.
What does Managed AI Operations include?
Keep is $495 a month: monitoring, fixes, up to 2 hours of changes, and a monthly report. Grow is $995 a month: up to 4 hours, one small improvement each quarter, and a current governance log. It is for Sprint clients, and the first 30 days after a Sprint are included. Hours do not roll over.
